Coaching and programming software

Spend less time on systems and more time coaching people.

Write a program once, adjust it for one athlete and see what happened, with the context in front of you before every session. Money stays off your screens.

Owners and admins also see the billing tile, each athlete's membership word and a flag on memberships to look at. Never an amount.

The Huddle Brief for one session: every athlete on deck with their 30-day attendance, a recent record, a limitation, a birthday this week and the latest staff note. Owners and admins also see a billing tile, each athlete's membership word and a membership flag; coaches see nothing about payments, and nobody sees an amount. Three problems a coach knows well

Creating programs
A week-and-day builder with templates and percentage loads.
Managing groups
One program, chat and testing day for a whole group.
Knowing who needs attention
The Huddle Brief before every session.

Before the session: the Huddle Brief

Every athlete on deck: age, focus, current limitations, 30-day attendance and training completion, recent records, a birthday this week and the latest staff note, for up to 12 sessions at once.

It never shows a date of birth, contact details or any amount; owners and admins also see each athlete's membership word, and coaches see nothing about payments.

Programs that fit each athlete

Build by week and day and prescribe in kg, lb, percentage of max or bodyweight; with no max on file, the athlete's strongest logged set of 1 to 5 reps from the last 26 weeks fills in, labelled "From your logs".

Change a shared program for everyone, for one athlete (their logs move with them) or as a private draft, with day history and "Who uses this".

A shared program built by week and day. Changing a day that other athletes follow asks who the change is for first: everyone on it, just this athlete, or a private draft. The day as it was stays in the program's history. Shown at yourclub.powa.co/staff/athletes/…/program. Names and figures are sample data.

Testing that shows change

Families see completed results beside the previous test; see athlete assessments and performance tracking.

  • A detailed movement and strength assessment
  • Combine testing with the conditions recorded
  • A whole group tested in one grid

Groups without losing the individual

A training group runs one program you move on with "Mark done and move on", "Skip" or "Undo", with the day on the gym screen and its own chat, testing day and notes.

Any exercise can carry a YouTube or Vimeo demo that plays inside the builder and the athlete's workout.

A training group's workout on the gym screen: the group week and day, then every exercise with its sets and load in large type. The coach moves the group on to the next day when it is done. Names and figures are sample data.

Notes that stay with staff

Private notes on athletes and groups with mentions, replies and reactions, and a morning email of the latest; an edited note keeps its earlier wording sealed. Families never see a word of it, because the database withholds it.
